How do I do the Valencia waterfalls day tour from Dumaguete?
Casaroro Falls, red-rock canyons and forest springs, all in the cool hills above Dumaguete.
Short answer
The Valencia day tour is the easy, cooling escape into the hills just above Dumaguete: Casaroro Falls, the Pulangbato red-rock canyon, the Red Rock hot spring and the forest picnic spots around Forest Camp. Valencia town is only about 10 km from the city, a 20 to 30 minute drive, so it works as a relaxed half day or a fuller day with more stops.
We arrange the private car and driver, with waiting time at each stop, as a fixed-price quote. Entrance fees at the falls and springs are paid locally, so those sit outside our quote, and you can shape the loop around how much walking you want to do.

Valencia waterfalls day tour: FAQs
Is the Valencia tour a half day or full day?
It can be either. A half day of about 4 hours covers Casaroro Falls and one or two nearby stops; a fuller day adds Pulangbato, the hot spring and a picnic or lunch. Tell us your pace and we will quote to match.
How hard is the Casaroro Falls walk?
It is a long stairway down and back up plus a short river scramble, so it needs reasonable fitness and good footwear, but it is short. If you would rather skip it, the tour still works well around Pulangbato and the springs.
What is included in the price?
The quote covers the private car and driver with waiting time. Entrance fees at the falls, springs and Forest Camp are paid locally, so they are separate.
