How do I get to Silay from Bacolod-Silay airport?

Bacolod-Silay Airport is not in Bacolod. It is in Silay, about 5 km and ten minutes from the heritage streets, which makes the Silay ancestral houses the rare sight you can see on the way in from your flight rather than as a separate day out of the city.

One thing to plan around: of the three houses usually listed as museums, only the Bernardino Jalandoni "Pink House" is a walk-in today, open Tuesday to Sunday and holidays, 9am to 5pm and closed Mondays. Balay Negrense has been closed for conservation since 2023 and the Hofilena house is visited by prior arrangement. Entry is paid on site and sits outside the car quote.
