How do I get from Dumaguete to Bacolod-Silay airport?

About 6.5 to 7 hours by private car for the roughly 210 to 230 km: the cross-island drive to Bacolod, then the extra half hour or so north to the airport at Silay. By bus and taxi allow about 8 hours with the terminal change.

There is no direct hop between the two Negros airports, so any flight routes back through Cebu or Manila and takes most of a day.
