How do I get from Bacolod to Dumaguete?
Short answer
Bacolod and Dumaguete sit at opposite ends of Negros, so the trip between them is a long cross-island haul. The usual land route runs down the west side through Kabankalan, then inland over the mountains at Mabinay, roughly 195 to 215 km and about 6 hours by private car.
