How do I get from Tampi port to Dumaguete?

About 18 km. The drive south along the coastal highway through Amlan and Sibulan takes roughly 30 to 45 minutes, depending on traffic through the towns.

Start with the coast you travelled down, but do not treat it as binding. The east-coast road through Oslob brings you to Liloan, and Sibulan lands about 7 km from Dumaguete; the west-coast road through Moalboal brings you to Bato, and Tampi is about 18 km north of the city. The part most maps hide is that Bato and Liloan are about a 10-minute tricycle ride apart round the southern tip, so arriving at the “wrong” one costs a short hop, not an afternoon. That makes the sailing board the real decider, and neither board is as thick as its total suggests: Liloan runs nine boats between 4:30 AM and 10:30 PM but the daytime ones are three hours apart (9:00 AM, then 12:00 NN, then 3:00 PM), and Bato runs seven with nothing at all between 10:30 AM and 2:00 PM. Both have a midday hole, and they overlap. Check both boards against your actual arrival hour before you pick a pier.
